A welcoming place to seek support
Food assistance is a practical way neighbors can care for one another. A temporary need for groceries does not define a person or family. At Conversations Around The Table, we want people to feel welcomed and treated with dignity.
The pantry is part of our commitment to serve families in Gary and nearby communities, including neighbors in the 46408 area. We believe that fellowship can offer encouragement as well as practical support. Whether you come to request assistance, lend a hand, or simply ask a question, you are welcome to contact us.
How to donate food or support the pantry
Donations help us prepare for distribution and respond to community needs. If you would like to give food, please contact the church first to ask what items are most useful and how to arrange a drop-off. This helps us direct your generosity where it can serve neighbors well.
You can also support the work through the church’s giving options. Visit the Outreach page or contact Prayer Tower Fellowship Church to ask about donating. If you prefer to speak with someone, call (219) 265-0133.
Thank you for helping make food support available in our community. Every thoughtful gift contributes to a shared effort to care for local households.
Volunteer with us
A welcoming pantry depends on people who are willing to serve together. Volunteers help make the food drive possible, and there is more than one way to take part. Visit the volunteer sign-up form on our Outreach page to tell us how you would like to help. The church reviews each sign-up and follows up about a role and the next food-drive date.
If you have questions before signing up, please call or send us a message. We appreciate your willingness to give your time and care to neighbors.
